We were delighted to travel to the West of Germany for Anuga as we showcased the best of British lamb to the rest of the world.
Based in the vibrant city of Cologne, Anuga is one the largest trade fairs in the world and aims to promote diversity within the food and beverage industry, giving businesses both big and small, nationally and internationally, a platform to present their unique contributions to the industry.
In 2017, the biennial event – which is the highlight of the international meat calendar – hosted 7,405 exhibitors and an estimated 165,000 visitors! The EQL team were out in force demonstrating their credentials to both existing and prospective customers.
Establishing new relations and reinforcing existing ones the trade was a great success. We attended the annual dinner hosted by the British agricultural levy body AHDB to showcase the best of British produce and met up with new contacts post-show to explore opportunities.
By all means, it was a great event and we’re already looking forward to the next one when Anuga will be celebrating its 35th year!
