Euro Quality Lambs (EQL) has long been a proud supporter of the Shropshire community, contributing to numerous charitable initiatives and community development projects over the past few years. As a leading name in the meat processing industry, EQL not only excels in delivering high-quality products but also in fostering a strong sense of social responsibility and community spirit.
Being a member of the Shropshire Chamber of Commerce, one of the key areas where EQL has made a significant impact is through our support for local charities. Such support has provided much-needed funds to organizations that serve a variety of needs. For instance, we have supported local food banks during the Muslim ThanksGiving season of Qurbani, ensuring that vulnerable families have access to hearty nutritious meals. The meat donations have helped these food banks expand their reach and provide much needed joy to those in need.
Our Foundation
Our charitable arm Euro Quality Foundation (EQF) has funded initiatives aimed at improving recreational facilities and providing residents with safe and welcoming spaces where they can gather, socialize, and participate in many activities.
We are keen to show a profound commitment to the well-being and growth of the region. Our support over the past few years has increased the impact of many organizations and initiatives, making Shropshire a better place for all its residents and visitors.
Who we support
One of our beneficiaries is the South Shropshire Youth Forum, which supports young people through educational and recreational activities. Our support has enabled the Forum to reach more youths, providing them with opportunities to learn and grow in a safe environment.
The Seedpips Garden Club & Produce Project CIC is another worthy beneficiary. This initiative encourages community gardening and sustainable living practices, fostering a sense of community and environmental stewardship.
We have also joined forces with others for the festive season. EQF supported the Craven Arms Christmas Lights Events Committee, bringing joy and community spirit to the area during the holidays.
Our support extends to broader humanitarian causes, such as Hope and Homes for Children, which works tirelessly to ensure every child grows up in a loving family environment.
The Movement Centre, dedicated to improving the lives of children with movement disabilities, has received funding to aid their mission to provide life-changing therapy.
In the realm of sports and recreation, Halo Leisure Services Ltd, SpArC Sports and Arts in the Community, and Church Stretton Cricket Club have all been supported, promoting active and healthy lifestyles.
Support for special needs children is provided via Empathy for Special Children, helping families and children navigate the challenges they face.
Our philanthropic reach also touches on global solidarity, as seen with JRS Coaches – Telford & Shropshire Palestine Solidarity Group.
Finally, our support to CAVE 23 and Severn Hospice Limited demonstrate a commitment to supporting health and wellness at all stages of life.
